Yes you can get them separated. Seen it done once or twice but looks weird to me since there a break in paint/chrome lines. I would run black handles if going murder and let the headlights/grille bring the chrome.

I just wanted a hint of chrome there just like the grille, the wheels are getting powdered gloss black also, and it's getting a 3/6 drop.Yes you can get them separated. I wanted to black the entire truck out, but it was my old mans pickup that I bought for him brand new Xmas '07. He passed last July and its mine now. He loved chrome and especially the all chrome Denali grille that I put on it for him. So I HAVE TO KEEP a bit of chrome. So I swapped the all chrome Denali grille for the one that's one it now. So my thought was a touch on the sides with just the door handle pull would be just enough. I'm also planning on doing the rear tailgate the same way, chrome pull with a black bezel. So black wheels but chrome grille and handles ? I'm confused.
I say leave the wheels as is for a more balanced chrome/silver. Or else black wheels with black grille surround and handles too
