Thanks, Kirk, I just added white stripe under windows on your photo and got almost exactly what I wanted!:)

BTW, did you ever think of installing Escalade doors?

Glad to help!

No, never really considered Esky doors. At that point I'd REALLY have to consider just getting an Escalade. haha But I do have some Esky door molding sitting here that I'm not sure what to do with just yet...

Incidentally, I saw a black Escalade with these wheels on Tuesday, and it looked great.

Hey Kirk,

What exactly do you mean esky door molding?
The chrome mid door moldings or the chrome strip of the window sill?

Thanks

I almost swapped doors completely. Decided against it. No real reason other than "going over the edge" and I'd probably just be better off buying an Escalade at that point, lol.

I think he's talking about the chrome trim on the escalade door. It would essentially replace the LTZ chrome side moulding.

Felix,

That chrome strip at the bottom of your Esky's window is part of the entire wraparound door molding right ... it's not it's own separate part?

I ask cause if it were, one could envisage buying it, plasti-dipping it black, and resolve the esky mirror gap issiue.

Yep the window sill has the chrome trim built into it. I wish it was its own separate part so I can buy it for my avalanche but unfortunately the window sill trim won't fit the Tahoe/Yuk/Avy bc of the different door shapes :(

Felix has it right. The Esky moldings have locating tabs (that go in holes in the Esky doors), but they can be clipped off, and then they attach just like the Tahoe/Yukon moldings...

Pardon me for saying this, but the door architecture is definitely one of the most beautiful things in Escalade! GM have even installed it on their GMC Sierra All Terrain HD concept truck!

Nevertheless, I bought myself CK 375s, pretty much with your help - I would never make a decision without seeing it on real photos!

They absolutely match Escalade!:)

Thank You, guys!:Handshake:

Just in case someone comes one day with the same question I came once:
