Hello, I will provide video links below.

But basically there has been a clanking sound coming from the rear left wheel area. I had already taken the wheel off disassembled the brake pads, rotors, and even replaced the rotor mount pin.
The problem persists.

In the videos, there is a grinding noise too when I shift, but it's not that bad usually it's because I don't have my foot on the brakes hard enough. If anyone has insight on what's causing it and how to fix that too would be appreciated.

But the main issue I have is that darn clanking metal when I move forward and backwards. Sometimes when I hit a bump on that side it will clank too.

I appreciate the help from you all!

Have you checked all of the bushings of the control arms and the sway bar?

Jack it up and pull the wheels man. Inspect the brake rotors and pads and then pull them to inspect the parking brake system. Also take a look at and spin the driveshaft just in front of the differential to check the u-joints and pinion bearing but my two cents is on the parking brake system.

Very odd. If you watch the videos that show the passenger rear shock you will see the noise coincides exactly with the compression of the suspension when the weight shift from the front of the vehicle to the rear. I would stick my hand up on the shock body while making the noise happen.(only do this with a driver you can trust). It could also be coming from the differential. Im torn between suspension or differential.

Pretty sure it's NOT this unless you just swapped your transmission but there's an anti clunk spring in the transmission. I don't know that it hurts anything but is super annoying if they left it out or it broke.

Another thing, try to recreate by jumping on rear bumper (suspension).

Check fluid level in differentials.

Look for witness marks (wear / rubbling marks) on your sway bar, sway bar links, shocks, & control arms)

Grab those sway bar links and see if there's any play in the joints on them, and or the bushings on the sway bar.

I saw on YouTube sometimes the splines in the rear driveshaft (to transmission) go dry. You can pull the driveshaft and lube them to see if that helps.

been a while since I posted on here, but I did what you suggested, I jumped on the back bumper up and down to see if it makes noise. It does not replicate it. However when I push it forward and rock it back and forth it made the sound once only. It seems to only make the noise during initial acceleration/ backing up. Also when I almost come to a stop and when hitting small bumps.

I also shook the sway bar link and panhard bar, no play,
shook/rotated the wheel while lifted, no play

I had gotten some opinions on it being the rear upper control arm, And I just put in a new one today, but the metal clank persists. I think I will change the rear lower next and see. But running out of ideas.
