I've had five black Tahoes, 2008, 2011, 2013, 2016 and my current 2021. The front end was pretty chewed up on the first two (I put about 30-35k miles per year on them). On the third I put film on the headlights and that alone made a major difference but the painted parts were still pretty chewed up. On the 2016 and the 2021 I have film on the entire front end, including the leading edge of the hood, the headlights and on the mirrors. The 2016 looked as good the day I traded it (with 145k miles on it) as it did the day I bought it. It's totally worth the money. I have attached a pic of the 2016 I took the day I traded it in back in January of 2021 - it was 5 years old in the pic but the front end looked brand new.
