P1258, blew a hose connector at heater core, replaced that and attempted a coolant flush, was able to swap about 2 and 1/2 gallons, check engine light has gone away and temperature gauge is sitting right in middle, check with my blue driver code is still showing along with a few others( just recently purchased this vehicle from auction, decommissioned police ), does the code need to be reset through the scanner tool or should it go away on its own

you can clear them but the stabiltrac and abs issues are unrelated and will likely return until they are resolved you need to do a bit of troubleshooting as those codes are generic
could be cut wire, bad ground, chaffed wire harness

Pics of the vehicle and general question after changing the battery im still showing these codes, check engine light is no longer on as well as service stabilitrak and traction control warnings are gone( not sure how those cleared), would these codes prevent anyone from taking a drive around ? Hoping to take a spin and not break down around the corner lol

IMO, you can take a drive around.
