next up is performance for this beast. Really thinking of slapping in a turbo and keeping the 5.3

Dude, we are on the exact same page. Ive been seriously shopping for a good turbo setup for the 5.3

Ive spent a good deal of time and money on my wife's DD... a 12sec 535xi and the turbo bug bit me bad so I would LOVE to FI the 5.3 and have 2 turbo DD rigs... both murdered out

What!!! lol. Ive been thinking of it. 6.0 or 5.3 turbo. Nothing wrong w/ my eng now. so.. why not.

12 sec 535 nice. Yeah all these new turbo cars are whats getting me. Just not sure where to start on the turbo aspect..

and for sake of thread, lol.. Paint your pro comp adapters. I just painted them real quick a flat black, so they dont stand out.

Have 60lbs injectors, log manny kit, waste gate...getting there. Don't mean to thread jack.

Back to the thread~ for alignment mike do you have a camber kit because you lose the torsion bar adjustment or does camber look good on truck maybe a front on tire pic?

04blackout hope you get your stuff in want to see another truck upgraded!!!

yea, almost scary... i was SOOOO close to buying a 2014 sierra on 35's and decided to keep mine after stumbling upon the coilover thread. so i figured if im gonna keep my truck, might as well make it REAL fun to drive, and lemme tell you, this 535 is soooo much fun... it hauls my whole family, full of groceries, through the snow with no problem. THEN... when the weather is nice, i switch it over to the meth race map, and watch out!

3.0 TT 6cyl full bolt on status, spraying methanol and with awd it launches HARD. its funny that my wife DD's it like she owns it and on the wknd i take it to the track like i stole tha bish :lol2:

dont worry, i had already planned on hitting them with a quick shot of flat black... i kinda like everything black :D

Thread jack cant happen when its my thread and do not mind. lol.
With that said--- Nope no camber kit, alignment guy before said i did not need one. Will find out for sure hopefully next week when i go for alignment now. I'll try to get a front pic tomorrow.

Yeah, that is scary, I was thinking of the same thing. The new blue one lifted w/ those black fuel wheels I think they are, either way black or chrome and lifted. ha ha.

That beemer sounds like fun to drive. Ive drove the m6, m3, m5's all pretty fun. Love the smg shifter on the new m3's. talk about fast shifting.

Figured you would, just wanted to note it, b/c i almost forgot.

:win:

we can all be in the coilover turbo tahoe club together :High 5:

Yes we can be all at different times, w/ billy already leading the way. I have some reading up to do on turbos and what needs to come with them.

Just updated 1st post with more pictures

I havent really talked about full build over here, but this is the current one:

And an old one:

Personally the tvs blower is a lot more street friendly. I would really go with one of those if I were one of you guys. Turbos are fun, but have a whole lot more problems to solve and require constant maintanence than the blower that you just slap on and forget about.

ATOMIC--- OH yeah, i have already read throughally your thread on pt.net. That is honestly kind of why i had no doubts on your brackets. If yours can handle your power then my measly 5.3 stock should have no problems at all. lol ..

Now you just enlightened the others here. lol. But you have to post a pic of the whole truck, b/c one would not know thats what was in it.

BTW- i love your build. thats what im talking about for my tahoe. I do not see them much built.
