It will work out really well for a turbo or s/c setup. As far as N/A engines, the results were marginal. Although if it were used strictly for towing and heavy off road use it would be beneficial. Toward the end I stared adding methanol and alcohol and it did improve performance. I was really trying to make an automated system for everyday use. As wee all know nowadays you can buy systems completely setup and ready to install. I love experimenting and building one of a kinds and it was a ton of fun... and money lol.

I don't think it's too far of a stretch to say any CAI is better over stock, numbers or not. It looks like a good unit to me. But the shape of the intake port on the box is square, it should be round and it's a bit pricey for a off brand.

I did the double install, Nolant intake and Flow master 3" exhaust at the same time and I'm getting 22 mpg.

Had ECM updated and tweeked the timing a little bit, shift kit for a more solid lock up, but other than that I'm all stock. I was getting a solid 16 and so so performance. With CAI and flowmasters i had definate performance and enconomy increase. Coruse that 22 is all hiway at 80 mph.....
