Color matched GMC emblems thinking about debadging

Picked up some vinyl the other day and went to town on the GMC emblems. Would have been much easier if I wasnt trying to cut with my 2 year old hanging off me trying to "help" haha. Pretty happy with how they turned out...may re-do the G on the front since there's a few bubbles but thats just my ocd kickin in. Not really a priority. I will probably get it painted anyways when i get the chrome surrounding the grill painted to match....

Thinking about yanking the "YUKON XL" emblem off the back....what do you think?

In regards to the YUKON XL sign, DO IT. You can always reapply it if you do not like the look without it.

XL emblem is gone....and definitely not going back on. Mainly because it came off in a million pieces haha but i like it. think it looks clean

Do you have original paint? Did you notice any difference in color when you took the badge off? I'm thinking about doing the same to a burgundy 02.

Yup original paint. There was some scuffing where dirt had gotten behind the edges but they buffed out. Color wise there isnt any noticeable difference as far as fading or discoloration. Honestly, 10 year old paint...I was surprised. I'd say go for it....
