First off, are Tahoe and Suburban suspension components the same? More specific I have a 01 burban.

Second, If I order this kit
http://tbssowners.com/store/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=102
What else do I need? I want a COMPLETE setup. I will also get the adjustable panhard bar. Do I need drop spindles as well?
Can I get that kit with the DJM sway bars instead of the Belltech?

Thanks

You know the guy that runs that store is a vendor on here. His name is Tony, norcalss. Pm him or he will chime in soon im sure. He can answer all your questions.

But to answer, first, what do you want to do. that kit is a cornering kit? Do you just want to lower it, or handle like a car?

Yes I am going to lower it. I see the kit is called a "cornering kit" but whats different about it? Looks like all the components that come in the 3/5.5 kit plus some.

I also want better handling.

I want to do the 3/5.5 Currently I am on 305/40/22. Come summer I will be looking into 26's I have seen many of these truck with a 3/5 on 6's so i should be good right? I dont tow anything beside my subwoofers (4 18's :D)

What about torsion keys? why do some kits use them and some dont? If I used them with the DJM kit would there be any benefits?

Same question about drop spindals. Are these all just different methods of lowering the suspension? Can they all be combined?

its adds in new upper a arms in front along with front/rear swaybars. The truck will ride/handle better thats for sure.

on customers trucks the 305 40 22 works fien with the 3/5.5 kit (i posted the white truck i did with the same kit few weeks ago)

if you go with a 26 inch wheel the 3/5.5 drops that i go with a 295 25 26 or a 305 25 26

no prob ive done this package with the belltech sways for years now and not been doing it with the djm swaybars and the djms do handle better due to their thickness.

for a 3 inch drop djm a arms i like better than keys/spindles and plus with keys/spindles your going to have to get a alingment kit in front. since yoru doing the 3 inch lower a arm and if you decide to get the djm upper a arm that set up with do better since balljoint angles are a lot better/you have poly bushings instead of used rubber ones on the a arms/and new front balljoints.
