That third row is removable and comes out in about 10 seconds with no issue :waytogo:

...and I wouldn't even call it loud. It's more of a growl than anything :rocking: I want someone to throw some Flowmaster 40's on a 6.2. That thing would shake an entire downtown area!!! :D

Some reviews indicated owners annoyance with the 3rd row seats and how when flat they are still in the way? Are they not removable? The only other issue is some complaints about engine noise? Is the engine loud or annoying?

Like mentioned above the seats, albeit heavy, come out very easily.

The 6.2 rumbles when you wake it up on a cold morning ... then settles to a purr. :)

oh BTW, only has had one owner and according to the dealer he was Don Odengaard, some ex football player with the NY Jets? I don't follow football which I think disappointed the salesman but it may be interesting to others.

According to Wikipedia....

Donald Boyd Odegard (born November 22, 1966 in Seattle, Washington) is a former American football cornerback in the National Football League. He played college football at Oregon State University and later at UNLV, and was selected in the 6th round (150th overall) by the Cincinnati Bengals in the 1990 NFL Draft. He was waived in preseason, and was picked up by the New York Jets. He played in 14 games for the Jets in the 1990 season, and another 16 for them in the 1991 season.

So, he went from PAC to WAC, or was it MWC at that time? I forget when the MWC was created. I think it was 1998.

OP, the only issue you might experience is an engine oil consumption issue. GM has issued a TSB that does, according to the last time I looked, include many V8s up to the 2010 model year. They do have a fix and it is covered under warranty. If it occurs after your warranty expires GM has been ”good-willing” this repair at no cost to vehicle owners because it is a well known problem. Not to worry though. If your truck gets low on oil it will notify you with a message where the odometer mileage is and a chime. If you search the forum there is a reference to the TSB number in here. I have a print out at home and can give you all that info later if you want. Just send me a PM. According to the TSB, this happens to vehicles with over 30k mileage. I didn't experience it until almost 80k. Dealer needed 3 hours to fix it, but mostly because of some engine cleaner they use for the cylinder area above the piston.

So it's burning the extra oil up and no evidence out the tailpipe? Freaky, okay I will certainly PM you later if I get it.
