Contemplating changing my shocks by myself...easy or hard?

Bilstein 5100's are the only thing anyone ever talks about... supposedly they are great but I've never had em. I'd go with the general concensus on this one.

I swapped my shocks on the sol. Just used a jack, aluminum blocks and just whatever I could find. It's easy just to get the bolts back in kinda suck

Yea I think I'm deff gonna do it myself.....The only questions I guess I have now are...How does adjustable ride height work? Will I be able to get the 5100s and lift my truck up an inch or so? Also I notice on AJUSA it says the 5100s exclude police package, which is the suspension I currently have...correct or not?

The 5100s lift via the additional grove cut into the body. The snap ring is placed in the higher grove thus lifting up the spring perch.

Every shock on ajusa will say excluded police package. It's just because it is just that a police pursuit ready suspension altering it takes that away. They'll work all the same.
