Cool radar detector mod

I just heard today that Iphone has an app for nav and a radar detector that also tells you where the traffic light cameras are.

My nav tells me where the traffic cams are and when I'm speeding

For droid there is Radar Detector, which only detects radar signals, and Radardroid, which utilizes Google Maps and Navigation to tell you where the fixed position speed cameras are. That's all I found.

I decided to do a hard wire with my radar detector and mount it on my rear view mirror with a bracket i picked up off ebay. I'm very happy with the results and thought i'd share

How did you hardwire the radar detector? Would you mind explaining? I plan on doing the same thing!

I'm pretty sure that the V1 comes with a hardwire kit in the box, but don't remember too well.

It's easy tap into the mirror and it'll come on and off with the mirror and then get a blendmount and also getting one

I have a valentine 1 with a custom mirror mount and use a stealth cord to patch it into my mirror. Had it on my Infiniti and just do happens it also works on my escalade... For those that don't wanna cut any wires, I suggest you look into stealthcord or invisicord. They just plug into the back of a connector.
