Well sun it is not the thermostat housing its on the side and all points to that how hard is it to get the intake manifold off
Coolant leak not sure what it is

Well its a solid day or two of work, depending on experience and the amount of cleanup needed.

oh yea its a fun process to say the least, while your at it check the spider.. you will need a handful of parts to do it right tho..

Yep, get the nice Fel-Pro gasket kit. It comes with intake gaskets that have steel(I think?) cores, and the kit also comes with a valve cover gasket, upper plenum gaskets, throttle body gaskets, and o-rings for the fuel lines. You'll also need a tube of liquid gasket maker to be used on the front and rear of the manifold. You'll see what I'm talking about when you take it apart. New manifold bolts are a good idea too, the stock ones are usually torque to yield. A torque wrench and a deep 10MM socket will come in handy too.

if you order from amazon it comes with all the gaskets orings and the liquid gasket maker

and you get new bolts because the have the thread sealant already on them. Manny bolts are not really tty bolts. as far as getting manny off at least one valve cover has to come off as well as dizzy. do not gouge the aluminum manny. and like Ceej said if you order the right gasket set it will have sealant in it already.

When I got my set it only came with a very small tube of sealant, barely did one side, maybe I just got unlucky haha. I would say get an extra tube just as insurance should you accidentally set the manifold wrong, etc. And DONT FORGET TO MARK THE POSITION OF YOUR DISTRIBUTOR. Trust me, if installed in the wrong position, it can cause many headaches....

unlucky I guess the felpro manny bolt set has the perfect amount of sealant on the threads already.

yea i got a complete gasket set and figured that well i am down there i might as well do the head gaskets and have heads sent out to be checked and replaced the steam seals and stuff replaced the dizzy. im just waiting for the heads to come back so its still ripped apart i have a tourq wrench. anything else i should get?and i got a spider too
