Hello all, new to Chevy's...is the servo on the side of the trans or is pulling the pan required for this and the 4 gear?

Did I miss it. What is the part number? Can I get this at my local Chevy dealer?

I bought both superior billet sets and installed them this weekend. I went ahead and bought the servo cover tool used on eBay. It made the job a breeze. The only trouble I had was removing the original. I had to bend the overlapping sheet metal on the tunnel a slight bit. Some told me that these kits would be too harsh, I disagree. I am glad I got the billet set. I found them new on eBay and saved about $40 which just about paid for the tool.

Right now I do not have a tune. Black Bear said that I should complete any trans work before having the process done.

I will just have him redo my tune, but I am curious if I should remove the line pressure increase when I add the servo.

I haven't done much research on this mod...I will start to look into where to purchase and stuff this week.

I have had my servos installed for a little over a month. I highly recommend the superior billet sets if you like firm shifts.
