I'm seeing prices from 13000 to 20000 for 14 year old Tahoes. I got my 02 about 5 years ago when it was 14 years old, and the going rate was about $6-8000. When did they start skyrocketing in price? At this rate I won't be able to afford to replace mine even if I wanted.
(These are Canadian prices, BTW)
I got 27$ for my CRV aluminum and ****** plastic the Aluminium CRV was paying 2.97 a pound....It is very cheap to borrow money and the down payment is coming from helicopters above...
Asset prices of all kinds have skyrocketed, stocks - up, land - up, houses - up, copper - up....
You get the idea.
It won't end well, but nobody cares, it feels so good....
I'm not looking into buying just now, but I do keep an eye on prices. I will probably want to replace it in 5 years or so, but with these prices I think I may need to keep it a little longer.
If my mechanic/owner friend of mine does not buy my Z for $25k, I will sell you my rig for $30k in 5 years.
I bought a 2011 LT Tahoe with the premium package so sunroof leather but no Nav in January of this year. It had 103k on it for $16k seemed a bit steep but it was a one owner bought serviced and sold at the same dealer. I’ve seen a 2016 XL Denali with 250k on go for $28k that’s insane.
