can you make it play DVDs somehow or get an input from the rear dvd player? is there a simple way to add an aux port or Bluetooth capability?

I had it since new. Was a pain to add Bluetooth and sat radio. The aftermarket interfaces never worked reliably and the nav was slow to program compared to today's phones. So I finally pulled it out and went with a pioneer unit that came with Bluetooth, Pandora, touchscreen and HD radio. Have to say I don't miss the stock unit at all.

You have to get the video input from the rear overhead, and get the PAC unit to add the input

ya I saw that thread. not sure if this truck has it or not. going to look at it sunday. just asking about thoughts popping up in my head. keeping it with the factory nav would be cool but its so outdated by now.

You should have an antenna on your roof for XM.

I am looking at Nav for my 04. I know it is outdated, but i thought of using it more as reference or in conjunction with smart phone jps. It is helpful to have something bigger than a tiny screen. plus you can use as backup camera screen.
