2017 GMC yukon xl denali with 6.2
broke down on highway, loss of power and then nothing but dashboard lights and warnings (wife was driving at the time so not sure of more)
scanned for codes, had 11 codes, p228c, fuel pressure too low, P0068, map/maf throttle position correlation, P0340, camshaft positon sensor, P0106 map/barometric pressure range, P0101, mas or volume air flow a circuit range, P0089, fuel pressure regulator performance and the remainder were duplicate P228c and P0068.
My first thought is the fuel pump in the tank. checked the 5 amp fuse and its good, checked the fuel pump relay and it seems good, but will replace in the morning as a precaution. changed the camshaft position sensor as i was one of the codes and historically i have had hands on that for other repairs previously and wasnt sure if i damaged it.
not hearing the pump when putting into on mode. is there an accessible port to check fuel pressure, i cant locate. is there any other way to check the fuel pump? am i on the right path thinking the fuel pump would cause chain reaction and trigger the other codes?
