Cranks but won't run

So I didn't see this covered, are the intake runners on the TBI intake the same size as the carb intake? If they aren't the same size that could account for the oil smelling like gas and it running badly, basically it's leaking gas into the engine via the lifter valley and causing vacuum leak at the same time. Especially if the motor was modded the the intake runners in the heads may have been ported and polished, also check your intake gaskets to make sure they fit heads right and don't block any parts of the ports

Thanks for the replies guys. Out of curiosity what's the correct firing order for 94 tbi trucks. Mine looks like it's completely out of order but it wouldn't of ran at all if that was the case right?
