decided to take a look under the rear end of the hoe today and noticed that my lift blocks have moved about an inch forward. i thought no big deal i just did t torque it enough, I'll get it tomorrow.. so i thought... took a closer look at it just a few mins ago and its not the block that moved, its the axle that slipped back. soooo needless to say im a little hesitant to drive it with only an inch or two before my driveshaft comes free. im going to drop everything tomorrow and slide it forward and torque the heck out of the u bolts but thats just a bandaid on an open wound. im thinking i need to get some shims and put them in the back of the block to keep it from sliding and raise the pinion angle up slightly to the shaft is straighter. any thoughts?

Did the blocks not have holes, pins or some alignment point to keep them from slipping out of position? And only reset your pinion angle in the rear half of the drive shaft so it matches the front half of the shaft in degrees. Do not set the front, for example, say at 7° and the rear at say like 3°. Must be an equal amount.

This ^^

All Blocks should have a centering Pin milled into it that slips into the Axle arches to prevent this , Take them off and inspect them to make sure they are not broken or missing !

they were there when i installed the blocks but im feeling like they must have broken out. theres no way the hole hopped over the pin. ill try to get some pics up when the rain stops, if you havent been to virginia beach in the summer just imagine 90 deg 90% humidity and it raining every other day

To be honest I doubt any of this , I have had my truck off road quite a bit even on some harsh trails at RC and I have yet to break one ,
