My 1999 Yukon Denali has a creaking noise coming from the back of the truck when driving over the smallest bumps and when entering and exiting it. I thought it might be the shocks but I'm not sure. It sounds just like a bed creaks. Can anyone help me with this?

do you have a rear sway bar, could be those bushings. leaf springs as stated, shocks/ or bushings.. last but not least check your spare tire, it might not be seated all the way.

leafs is my guess, grease them up a little and see what happens. Even just spray some WD-40 on there and if the noise stops then pull the spring pack apart and grease them and install new pads
