So after replacing by steering gear, my steering wheel remains crooked. I know it can't simply be removed and repositioned. I know because I tried. LOL. I also attempted to rotate the intermediate shaft, however it appears to be keyed like the steering wheel. Any thoughts, suggestions? Thanks.

I had an alignment approximately one month ago when I rebuilt the front end. Now that I recall, the steering wheel was crooked before I took it in and it remained that way afterwards. I'll take it to them tomorrow. I was looking for a fix I could perform. Let you know how it turns out.

they should use this tool that connects to the brake pedal
and the steering wheel to keep it from moving while
he make adjustments. also check the rubber donut at end
of the steering shaft see if it's real soft. replace if it is.
