Custom 07 up Y Pipe Project.

looking under the truck today the y pipe to 3 inch section/3.5 is horrible. Will be cutting it from the y pipe past the stock flange so if i need to put it back i can.

im cutting from the crimped y pipe all the way to the flange.

It goes from the stock y section which has a horrible 2.5 to quick 3 inch section which im cutting out. I have a 3 to 3.5 reducer and then will be 3.5 diretly to the flange.

this will all be gone from the flange to the front of the truck. 10 up they changed it up with a bigger 3rd cat.

I dont think i have that third cat on my 08. The newer trucks have that?

yes they do my buddy cut off all 3 cats on his truck gainted like 15rwhp and more than that torque

What kind of gains and sound change would cutting the third cat yield ?

I will take a video of mine before/after. IM running the biggest magnaflow 5x11x28 3.5 in/out and it finally broke in. Sounds good but a before/after video I will do.
