good work so far but yes you will have to run the new wire outside the taped bundle but should still be in the plastic conduit whenever possible. It would be okay two splice at the ends assuming the terminals weren't the problem but it sounds like you have a plan. If you had the battery disconnected that would have wiped your codes too. Go for a few test drives to besure your light stays off.

Thanks for the replies. Ever since i replaced that one wire, its been running way better. All i know is it has tons more power than it used to. The check engine light has not turned back on. Been driving it a few days and seems well. I jus wish i had figured this out sooner, now that there really isnt much snow, i had been driving it through the snow with pretty much no power all winter. O well. Atleast now its working good :)
