The problem with those heads is your lose all your low speed port volocity and the truck will feel sluggish. IMO probably the best head for our trucks right now would the AFR eliminator 180 head, and a short duration Comp 4x4 cam around the 212° @.050 and you'll be making over 350HP, those heads just flooooow.

LOL well yeah they will "work" on a 305 but ...
hence my comment a week ago.......

true, that may kill low end, on a Tahoe/Yukon, I'd done 180cc if not 165cc's.

they will work, and will loose some low end, like I mentioned. But he has them, and they will work.
No different then 'over camming' like some do.

Running 210 runners with a little smaller cam than you have on mine no complaints. Go with Tracy and I think you will be happy. Tracy what adds can he do if he still doesn't like the punch the motor has?
