Day Time Running Lights

I have a 98 Tahoe and I was wondering if there is anyway to turn off the day time running lights? I have never been a fan of them and was wondering If there was away to have them off.

I pulled the fuse on mine but the little light on the dash stays on.

x2, that way I remember to turn them back on when leaving a parking lot (I live in Alaska and leave my truck idling if I can't plug it in in winter)

Witch fuse is it? I dont have the plate that says what fuse dose what.
