I have a 1995 Tahoe (Canadian) and I recently converted from sealed beam to composite. And doing so I have now noticed something odd.

When my truck is driving around normally the low and high beam are on for the drl and if I switch to use my headlights the low and high beam are separate.

Now I've watched trucks drive around and I can't for the life of figure out if I perhaps wired something wrong or what.

But from what I can gather DRLs use only the low beam bulb not both?

Its doesn't seem to affect anything.. just something I noticed.

the wiring is mixed up for sure. i did this same swap a couple months ago and no issues at all. my drl's are the low's and the highs work separately. i'd go back in there and double check your work. maybe post a pic of the wires you spliced into.
