Hmmm, I have 4 sets of Morimoto HID sets laying around from previous cars, but no projectors. I wonder if I can get a MH1 projector in the DRL spot or even replace them with some LED foglights I bought for my bumper, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B015WIRRV4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 or something smaller due to size limitations of housing like, https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Proj...qid=1488583595&sr=1-22&keywords=led+projector

https://www.amazon.com/6K-LED-Drivi...rd_wg=a8Kv9&psc=1&refRID=TG06MZT7PB7TTZC2HCMT

idk, still thinking about my best options but i will be doing a retrofit instead of messing with all those other little bulbs and workarounds.
You're doing an HID retrofit for your DRL's? Why would you do that?

Since I can modify the pot on the ballast and adjust voltage down to 15-20watts, but in all honesty a small LED projector as I posted is easier and more feasible. Overall, I'd do it because I want to and I can and still have a clean cutoff that wont blind oncoming drivers

Why not just do a retrofit in the low beam with a shutter for high beam, and then do another projector in the high beam location if you want overkill. The DRL location makes no sense to me, it's not a location that's meant for aiming or even powering a projector. But it's your ride.

How do you like those jeep led fogs? They look like they might work well for my 4 wheeler headlights. I have a rigid dually on the handlebars that gives me plenty of light, would like a wider and white light for my stock headlights though. I think I can retro those in.

Does anyone have their daytime runners upgraded to something cool. They are boring and want to do something cool with them.

I went in a different direction with my DRL, I'm running all amber LED lights...some may think it's cool, some may think it's dumb. At the end of the day it's your truck and should do what you think looks good

Plenty of cool ways to run them after reading this thread

But those aren't your drls, those be yer parking lights. You should already have built in white led drls.
I'm not a fan of incandescent amber but I do like the deep tone and crisp color of led amber.
