How would they not function correctly? Mine blink when they are supposed to
I see why they work... looking on the ebay page for your switchbacks, they say they aren't polarity sensitive ("non polarity").
There is a problem with using LEDs with our trucks (and many other cars and truck that are wired the same), they setup the side marker light to change the polarity they get ground from, depending on whether the parking lights are on or not.
So we have to have at least one of the LED bulbs setup to non-polarized.
I thought it would have to be the side marker, but seeing how yours still work correctly, I guess it doesn't matter, as long as at least one of them are.
Just to be sure, your side markers flash with the main turn signal when the parking lights are off, and alternate with the parking lights on?
Something cool about the swtichbacks I have, is that the white light goes out while the turn signal flashes, and when the turn signal turns off, after a moment the parking lights turn back on as you can see in this video:
