DB9 Pin out for PAC adapter?

I just picked up a 15800000 NAV unit that has a cable with a DB9 connector. It looks like a ribbon adapter for a PAC VCI-X adapter.

The NAV seems to work except for the touchscreen display. I'm sure it's because the PAC unit is missing and the screen is getting no video signal.

I'm not sure I want to spend the $$$ for a VCI-X unit at the moment.

Does anyone happen to have a pin out of this connector? I'm thinking it should not be too hard to make a loop-back to the screen if I know the pin outs.

My alternative is to reinstall a stock ribbon. Anyone know where I might find one?

TIA

No Ideas huh?

Any suggestions on another forum that might have this info?

I have never seen the 9 pin documented.

The PAC instructions suggest taping the stock ribbon to the inside of the radio in case you ever want to go back to stock. Have you tried opening the radio to see if the installer did this? You could get lucky.

What would be the negative effects of using the stock ribbon? That would be my next move. I would think eBay would have them? I could be wrong.

The biggest problem with using the stock ribbon is that I don't have one yet. lol

I also got the NAV unit so I could eventually add a backup camera so keeping the DB9 cable would make it easier.

I tried contacting PAC Audio for a pinout but I got a big fat NO. It was worth a try I guess.
