DC Power OEM Series?

Okay I've read (mostly) good reviews on DC alts but most people i see run the XP series. I want/need a bigger alt as I am scared to continue running my stock. So in short is the 220 amp DC power OEM series alternator up to par? I was also considering Power Bastards. Their reviews are mixed as can be expected but other than googling and such I have no real experience with either company or H/O alts in general. I've always ran stock alts...(i know i know ) but I'm ready to start doing better and with "Scrapin the Coast" right around the corner I'm ready to do better for once lol.

Mostly audio:
~2200 rms monobock amp
~600 rms 4-channel

gonna add 2nd monoblock eventually and get a better 4-channel and considering an air horn for s&gs
