DDM Backorder

i ordered some HIDs for the truck as well as the bike LAST YEAR and they are still not here! haha but really ordered them on dec 21 and the website says they are still on backorder! i tried to call them and their phones are constantly busy, their tech is never online, and i emailed them and they havent emailed back. im not one to get pissy over this kind of stuff but come on, this is getting ridiculous! i cant even reach them to find out when they are going to ship.

anyone else had a problem with DDM? i would ask about customer service but i cant seem to reach them to even try and discuss how they are!

oh well... hopefully they will arrive soon!

In 08 I ordered some on the 3rd of Dec., and got them on the 21st if that helps!

there is a thread in the exterior 00 tahoe section. I also am waiting for mine i ordered on jan 1. It takes their email people about 3 days to respond and their phone system is ABYSMAL!

I will give them the benefit of the doubt the email i got yesterday stated:
Our kits has been on backordered for the past two weeks. We just got the shipment in of HID kits as of 3:01pm on Jan 13, 2010. We will be catching up ASAP to all the backordered items and shipping them out hopefully by the end of this weekend. If you wish to cancel this order, you will need to notify us right away. If not, once the item is ready to be shipped out, a tracking number will be provided to you.

which is almost the exact response i got last week.
I just tried to contact them again and while i did not get the busy signal no one answered and the voicemail boxes are full.

its weird that you guys say that? I ordered about 4 kits from DDM....no longer then 3 days to ship. I had to call them a few times and they answered and were really nice and helpful....weird?

I'm on my 3rd order from ddm. the first 2 were very prompt and everything was great, I'm waiting for the 3rd. order date to expected delivery date will be about 2 weeks......that's not bad for back order, IMO. I had to call a couple times and the phone system is retarded, but once somebody finally pics up, they have always been nice and helpful. How are they to deal with for warranty?

well im glad some one else is in the same boat as me! haha crappy boat non the less. im going to try and call them AGAIN, and hopefully with their "added 6 new lines" someone will pick up

when did you order yours? it seems like its mostly a dec/jan month problem due to Christmas and such - their busy time. but if you did order yours in the same time frame then

Ordered my set a few days ago. I haven't received an email confirmation from them yet but knew going into the purchase that the hid kits are on backorder and they are swamped with orders right now. I'll wait and see.

ok well good news, just got an email saying they have been shipped and will arrive next week! and on the note of HIDs i bought the 5202 for my fogs, and seeing as i have a Z71 do yall think they will fit? haha i hope they do, might have to find a way for them to go anyway!
