couple days ago my driver side bulb started flickering for the first time. I installed them a couple of months ago. then the other night the bulb went out entirely. I checked the connection and everything is good and connected still. the ddm site said it could be due to not having enough power but it had worked fine for awhile so is it just the bulb??

also wondering if i should do an alternator upgrade. how many amps is the stock alternator?

That's weird that yours have gone out already. Mine have been going strong for 1.5 years. I want to say stock alternator is 110-120 amps. I upgraded mine to 160 last year

ddm honors their warranty for life. they can send you either a replacement bulb and ballast or just a bulb.

well took it all out last night and did some testing and turns out its the ballast thats bad. and its the same ballast that i had sent out to them that wasnt working to begin with when i got them the first time. so here we go again. at least their lifetime warranty :D
