Are you guys debadging the tailgate of your trucks? I can't decide how it will look on the nnbs... I had my 01 Tahoe debadged and loved it. I guess I should just grow some and do it, I can always put them back on if need be.
I just haven't seen too many nnbs trucks running around debadged i guess.

To give you an idea here is what it looks like including taken off that stupid plastic window "handle"

In order to actually remove the bowtie too you'll want to either get a Yukon appliqué or fill in the guide holes that are behind the bowtie and paint it.

Hope this helps!

I really need to stop reading things on here... the wife is going to kill me if I keep finding things to mess with on the truck.
I never thought of removing the plastic chunk from the glass, but i really like the idea. I just wonder how many finger smudges that little chunk saves from getting on the glass, if any.

I really need to take my rear window black piece off, too. I think I've popped my rear window twice since '09. I always just open the whole tailgate. Yeah, I need to ditch that piece.

Me too which is another reason I ditched it other than cleaning it up more. I rarely just open the glass up.

i did all mine with a heat gun mechanix gloves and a plastic puddy knife no goo gone no goof off no adhesive remover what soever
the trick is you need to really heat up the moldings or badges or whatever hence the need for the mechanix gloves
if your doing the door moldings heat up the edge with a heat gun use the plastic puddy knife to get it started so you can get the tips of yer fingers under it then start heating it up and pulling heating and pulling iff all the adhesive is coming up then yer getting it hot enough if yer leaving adhesive behind yer not heating it up enough
