Alright, I have been looking for a specific suburban and was hoping to get one before the end of the year but there are none around for over 1000 miles and I have been searching for a month now. I live in southern california and it does not seem like there has been any new inventory in quite some time. It looks like they may have the vehicle I want across the country, but I don't want to just call around dealerships. I had one that said i could fly in and drive it home, and then sold it last night. Has anyone heard of any more inventory coming in or know of a dealership that is willing to deal and ship? TIA

my guess would be most of them, if you are a serious buyer and willing to travel you might want to consider giving them a deposit so it does not get sold out from under you again, it might also help to be pre qualified makes it real easy. I can recommend capitol one I have dealt with them a couple times and they have participating dealers all over. They are very easy to deal with and rates are very competitive.

Criswell Chevy in Maryland has 10 Suburbans in stock. Call and ask for Mike Furman (and only mike), he's primarily Corvette, but can sell any model/brand in the Criswell Auto group. He uses Plycon Auto Shipping to ship Corvettes all over the country, Suburbans won't be a problem. And yes, I bought 3 Vettes and 2 Tahoes including my current 2021 from him.

I was thinking of doing the exact same thing, only with a Yukon. Before you pull the trigger, look into if the car you’re buying is 50 state emission certified or just 49 (excluding of course California). I live in the San Fran area and I came across this issue and have not been able to get a clear answer as to whether they are all 50 state complaint or only the ones intended to be sold in California. Last thing you want is not to be able to register it in Cali due to an emission sticker compliance issue. The dealer should be able to clarify.

usually the dealer will know right away because there are a handful of states that can be federal only but the dealer will know flat out if they can or cannot sell it out of state because of the law in there state, if you google a little bit you can find out the states it's been a while since I looked into it. They should mostly be east of the Mississippi states
