As title says, is this possible? I want to keep the side moldings, but remove only the crome lists.

Probably have to sand them down and paint. I don't think the chrome part comes off.

The chrome strip can be removed but the moulding won't look right. Best bet is to color change the chrome.

I just painted mine. If you can't find plasti dip krylon makes a plastic bonding paint also.

#insert dumb question here#
what is plasti-dipping?

Plasti dip is a rubberized spray coating. I think it was originally used to coat the handles on hand tools such as pliers. The cool thing about it is you can peel it off if you don't like it and it's pretty durable. Search plasti dip on youtube or here on the forum.

Not trying to thread jack. But are the side moldings glued or are they riveted on? I want to take mine off but wont yet if they are riveted. Thanks
