DEF Dipstick?

Does anyone know if there is a DEF dipstick available for the 24-25 Yukon or Sierra PU with the 3.0 Diesel engine? Seems kind of silly that you need to pour in DEF until it runs out the filler neck and making a mess?

No. The tank is over on the passenger side and if you crawl under and look at how long the hose is from the full neck to the tank you’ll see that will be a ridiculously long dipstick.

What you can do is look in the diesel supplement manual that came with your rig. There is a graph showing how much DEF you can add based on how many chiclets are remaining on the DEF gauge.

You can also just wait until you get a DEF low warning and then add another jug. The first warning comes when you have 1000 miles of DEF remaining.
