I suspect that all these "issues" are non-issues.

As I recall, the Euro cars use "Act Blue"/DEF/Urea too.

Interesting to see the variances from vehicle to vehicle. I purchased a new Tahoe on November 11th. Started with a full tank of DEF from the dealer. I'm at 2800 miles and have two notches left on the guage.

Unless you are towing that sounds excessive. I never dumped in my first 2.5 gallon container till about 7500 miles and it was not down to two bars at that point. Overall I’ve got 17,000 miles on mine and I’ve only put in 7 1/2 gallons of DEF total. currently at half full.

There are alot of variables that seem to go into the usage. Weather/traffic/driving habits/idle time. Plus it's hard to say if the DEF tank was truly full when you take from the dealer, since there is only the "block meter reading"

I have 9300 mile's on mine. living in metro detroit, so it's remote start winter season. I put in 2.5gal myself around the 7500 mark, and the dealer refilled it during my oil change at the 4000 mark. Currently sitting one bar above half. 95% of my weekly mileage is city driving.

I've been using about 1 gallon per 1000 miles, mostly 70 mph with headwind carrying ~800-1000 pounds of people and cargo. No towing though.

Hello everyone with the 3.0 Duramax. I have a 2022 Suburban with the Duramax. I just hit 3500 miles on the odometer and still have 3/4 of a tank of DEF. It came with a full tank of DEF when we bought it new in late March. Just wondering if this is normal. We don't do a ton of towing and most of the miles are from driving above 60 mph. Thanks ahead of time.
I got ~ 8500 miles out of my first two def tanks, a little local boat towing here and there mostly highway miles
