How can you tell when the axle is centered do you just measure it?

Good question. I was wondering the same

I just use a tape measure hooked to the back of the brake rotor pulled out horizontaly. Then something long and straight like a yard stick held vertically up against the outside flat part of the fender well, center of the wheel. Sorry if this sounds like a drag on sentence.

Carpenters square along tire is what I use. Im at a point that I can eyeball it pretty easy now.
