Demolded..now have a question..need HELP

I demolded my tahoe yesterday..used a rubber eraser wheel to remove the tape..then a adhesive remover to get the rest off..after all of that there is a faint dark line where the tape used to be..it is smooth and no ridges..do I clay bar it now and if so what color clay bar..I did try some light compond on one spot and it did nothing..Please help me if you can..

Claybar isnt going to do anything with that, you to cut and polish....and even then its iffy. Clay bar is really for taking dirt and crap out of the clearcoat/paint.....


Look at me giving detailing advice....

I would try a little lacquer thinner on a soft rag or T shirt.

Got it fixed..I used Maguiars Ultimate Compound..first time I have buffed anything in over 35 years..worked like a charm..my wife said "see the old man still has it"
