On the 'build your own' on the GMC website you can upgrade to the 22" wheels with the chrome inserts on the Denali for $895. However, if you choose either the black insert wheels (RX1) or the plain silver wheels (SF1), the charge is nearly $3k!
Is this correct? I'm a fan of the 22" GMC wheels, just not crazy over the chrome inserts.

Only $495 extra with touring package.

The chrome inserts are screwed on. They could easily be removed and painted black or matched to the body color. I personally love the 22" Denali wheels.

The other wheels are Dealer installed options so the price is the same no matter what base wheel your trim comes with.

I agree it makes no sense.

You can buy them from supposedly from some of the wholesale parts suppliers etc. for $423. One of the vendor here says they won't be able to fulfill the order, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. If you order without the black/chrome inserts the price drops to $368. I'm placing an order for them Monday. Dealership called to say my car was here. I ordered with stock 18" which I will use on one of my work pickups. From what I've seen you get your cost down to about $2600 for same wheels tires. With selling 18"s or re purposing or keeping for winters tires etc. it made more sense to me to keep the old ones instead of paying out for the upgrade.

eBay seller novuswheels just put up a bunch of OEM 2015 wheels for what seems like really good prices.

Feedback is not great at 98% but might be worth looking at...
