Denali - Changing your parking lights to DRLs

Okay so I love the front of my Denali but I hate the DRLs. Id rather wire in and use the amber signal/parking lights. Anybody done this?

I haven't done it but I would think all you need to do is cut the drl wires and splice into the turn signal right next to it

I was thinking the same. Not the signal wire but the other parking light wire. That way the signal would still work

You can either wire it up to be off and only come on with the turn signal, or wire them the be on with the parking lights but not flash. Can't have both functions.

unless you can find a plug that fit's and has 3 wires coming out. But the drl. Only has the 2. There might be such a plug. Now I'll be looking lol.

also if you splice into the parking lights you would have to flip the wires over on the actual drl light bulb so the dimmer filament lights up and not the brighter filament. Otherwise one light with be regular parking light brightness and the other will be super bright like turn signal brightness.
lol sorry trying to explain. I've done it on other vehicles but not ours yet.

I had forgotten about this. I'm going to look into it more now
