Retrofit meaning installing aftermarket projectors for use with HIDs for the best light output. Not necessary but a great mod for sure. These lights are pretty easy to retrofit to since it doesnt require pulling the headlights apart.

Found a set of Denali headlights on ebay for cheap, next up bumper lights and tail lights. Hopefully this will be a great upgraded look for my Yukon.

Direct fit. The bulbs in the low beam are different. The Denali uses 9005 low beams. However, the headlights have a conversion harness built into them so they will plug right up.

So when I grab these headlights would it be wise to buy a 9005 HID kit, or just buy the 9006(?) regular Yukon headlight HID kit?

Thanks.

You will need the 9005 kit n maybe have swap plug connections but thats easy. Here are my lights with Morimoto Mini H1 retro fit n wow the light output is amazing.

HID's in good projectors and you'll never want to go back to normal headlights. With the right HID projector, the difference is amazing. Mine throw usable light about 1/8 mile. 50w ballasts with CBI bulbs FTW.

I know that since I swapped HID's into my rock crawler I never need to use my light force lights. What HID kit do you guys recommend? Also what color temperature are you guys using?
