Denali XL driver seat adjustment

The forward/backward seat adjust lever on the driver side works opposite of the passenger. On the driver side, when I push the lever forward, the seat moves back and vice versa. On the passenger side, when I push the lever forward the seat moves forward and back goes back. Any reason why that is? Does anyone else have this issue with the 2000-2006 models? Mine is the 2003 Denali XL.

usually this is caused by a bad switch

What do you mean by bad? I mean the switch works just oppositely of what's expected. Could the switch contacts be connected backwards? I mean I'll live with it...just curious

it's one of those weird things that happens internal to the switch, seat module, or if someone messed with the plugs it gets posted from time to time, if it's not a issue then so be it

Seat movement is reversed?

Hi all, i have a 2003 yukon xl slt, and the drivers seat controls are reversed? been like that since i bought it cpl years ago, previous owner had drivers seat bottom redone, so it has been worked on before, any suggestions on what to do? also since it was reupholstered the drivers seat heat...
