Has anyone else experienced problems with their alarm feedback settings? Or maybe it's just trying to tell me something and I don't know what it is.

No matter what I change the feedback settings to, when I lock the doors with the key fob, the horn honks once, and then once again about a second later.

When unlocking the doors with the key fob, the horn honks twice in the first button push, and thorn honks again after the second button push to open the rest of the doors. Keep in mind this is with all feedback off.

Has anyone experienced this kind of issue? The alarm does work, and everything still seems to operate properly, but it's annoying and my wife doesn't like it.

Thanks.

Shoot, mine is 2002 and I'm pretty sure they are different! Hopefully someone chimes in!

i will have to double check on my 04. but i thought there was a setting only for the horn. I dont remember it being called " feedback".
Also, despite having mine turned off. When i had remote start put in, horn at lock/unlock, was a function of the remote start.
Are your fobs OEM? or do you have an aftermarket remote start?

They're OEM.

Yes, there are settings that can be changed so that you don't get the horn, lights, etc. The problem is that the vehicle has a mind of its own right now, and no matter what those settings are, I still get this strange horn honk as described above.

I'm thinking there is a problem with the system. But the alarm works just fine as my wife has found out several times recently.

I was just hoping someone else has had this problem before.

Mine is 06, and the dic has the feedback settings you're referring to. I have never really played with them, but will later and report back. Also another thought. On my fob, if you hit the lock button once, it locks, hit it again, and it beeps the horn once. I have noticed that from time to time, it honks right away after the first button press. Out of habit, I double click the lock button, and it honks twice. I think the button on the fob is to blame but have not tested thoroughly.
