Did anyone go with a JEGS transmission?

I haven't but depending on your vehicle and year their instructions are off so take them with a grain of salt. I could suggest a great rebuilder but the costs will be much higher overall.

What does a rebuild of a 6L80 go for these days?

What about labor to remove and replace with something like the Jegs tranny?

OP; If you're looking for a new transmission for your '16 Yukon XL Denali it won't be a 6l80.

The transmission in your rig is an 8-speed, the 8l90e.

To remove and replace I am not sure as I did my own labor on mine. But the rebuild cost for my 6L80 was 3k for a 750ish HP build. The 8L90 is about 2800-3k to build for that or more HP. Also if you ship it to the builder as I did freight costs also have to be considered. I have aprox 3600 into my build including shipping cost. Plus another 1200 for the converter I went with.

True. It would be the 8l90.
