My 07 Denali just turned 105k and is getting some maintenance done to it including oil pan gasket. Did the 6.2 have the o ring issue like the others? Thanks again Jason

Technically there has never been any official "O ring issue", and the 6.2 uses the same O Ring as most other NNBS 5.3 or 4.8. Like any O Ring, the one on the pickup tube can become flat over time and lose its seal. IMO Since you will already have the pan off it makes sense to replace it since it's only 1 more bolt and 1 nut to remove the pickup tube.

IMO the answer is yes. I changed mine 17 mths ago. it was brittle and broke when I removed it.

I wasn't having oil pressure issues, I just knew it 12 yrs old & 130k miles and could be a problem at any time. I was changing the rear main seal at the time, so I did the O-ring and AFM deflector while I was at it.

I have one I plan on installing was just curious if they are known for the same issue. Figured I could splurge on the $1.35
