We put a jumper wire in the fuse box to turn the motor, like using the solenoid to jump start it. No the engine doesn't crank at all. When the key is turned nothing happens. When the key is removed the dashboard lights and radio stay on until the battery is disconnected

Ignition switch? Stuck in run position internally somehow? Would explain stuff staying on and no crank...not the key switch/tumbler but the actual ignition switch in the column.

Just wanted to update my last post. After finally getting the truck to the shop and a couple of days there. I was told it was the throttle control actuator module that needed to be replaced. The part itself is $300 at dealership, but I found it on Amazon for $150. Thanks to everyone for the input.

So to clarify: did that module actually fix the no start problem? I am confused!
