My truck had the same problem last fall, ended up using a voltmeter to check every electrical item on the truck. Could not find the parasitic draw. Eventually it stopped dying and now will if i leave it sit for more than a week locked. If the truck is unlocked there is no problem, if you have the change let it sit unlocked for 3 days then see if it dies, if so you could disable the security system.

Was your battery dead when you replaced the alternator? Did you get a jump from another car? If you answered yes to any of these, you need to get a battery charger and let it charge over night. Just because the alternator is charging does not mean the battery get to get fully charged. I had this problem when I did my alternator swap. Charged battery and problem gone.

I had a similar problem and all it turned out to be was a stripped battery terminal (I had a screw in side post at the time) Switched posts and everything has been fine since.

You will have to use a voltmeter and look to see where your drain is coming from.

so i followed this post and pulled all the fuses and relays it has 1.32 amps of draw when i take out the starter relay all the draw goes away when i replace it it all comes back any ideas

i think i fixed it by playing with the relay a little more so lets cross our fingers and c what happens

In today's vehicles electronics plays an important part, and there are many parts that drive there power from the batteries and sometimes to keep on doing so even when they are idle and may lead to quick battery drain.
