Different bushing for shocks

So I’m installing my new shocks, but the new ones do not have the metal insert inside the bushing and the hole in the inside is not large enough to fit the metal insert. Seeking ideas as i need to get these installed. Thank you as always!

If you still wanna use the sleeves, this is what I did to convert some shocks from a bar pin to the eyelet style:
