auto lights, i read one read thread bout how people add resistors to the wire to stop the autolight from coming on once they start the car but its a write up for 00-02 .
are you saying if i pull the DRL fuse, thats the same as the auto light when the truck starts Yates ?
i understand where u coming from , i just the type a person that if i want my lights on i can turn them on myselfHmmmm, I wonder why????? But hey, to each their own.
When I took the fuse out in my 07 the DRLs did not turn on but the auto feature worked. I have no idea if it is the same on your style.
The auto headlights only come on at night. When the sensor on the dash senses it's dark enough. Now if yours are on during the day then Your sensor isn't working properly. As for auto and hids I have had mine for over 2 years and never had a problem with it. Nor have I heard about that before. So your good.
I believe there is a procedure to check it. But not sure what it is. Search the site some and it should come up. I think daylight sensor
