auto lights, i read one read thread bout how people add resistors to the wire to stop the autolight from coming on once they start the car but its a write up for 00-02 .

are you saying if i pull the DRL fuse, thats the same as the auto light when the truck starts Yates ?

When I took the fuse out in my 07 the DRLs did not turn on but the auto feature worked. I have no idea if it is the same on your style.

Hmmmm, I wonder why????? But hey, to each their own.
i understand where u coming from , i just the type a person that if i want my lights on i can turn them on myself

ok thas my problem, maybe im sayin it wrong. i wouldnt care if the drl comes on. i dont want that auto feature when the truck cuts on, i read that thread with the 00-01 , they use a resistor . i see people try doing it on newer models but the wires are different from what i read. I wonder if anyone done it , if so how? reason why i dont want auto turnon is im bout to get HIDs. and i heard that the auto turnon can blow your ballast , i dont want that to happen plus i dont like to run my HIDs doing the day

The auto headlights only come on at night. When the sensor on the dash senses it's dark enough. Now if yours are on during the day then Your sensor isn't working properly. As for auto and hids I have had mine for over 2 years and never had a problem with it. Nor have I heard about that before. So your good.
